About Us

3VA members

  • We are the Three Villages Association — families, neighbors, and community members who call Vernon, Big Bend, and Waukesha home.
  • We came here on purpose. Twenty minutes from the city, but a world apart from it — quiet roads, open land, and the kind of neighborly life that is harder and harder to find. We are the families who needed something the city could no longer offer. Parents of children with special needs who thrive in calm and quiet. People whose disabilities make them sensitive to noise and light in ways others may not see. Everyday people who work hard, ask little, and simply want to live well — and let others do the same.
  • The character of these three villages is not an accident. It is something each of us chose, invested in, and built our lives around.
  • The Three Villages Association exists because that character is worth defending. When decisions made by those in power threatened the peace, the safety, and the very nature of the community we love, we did not look away. Mothers working full-time filed hundreds of Open Records requests on their lunch breaks. Teachers drafted legal petitions after putting their kids to bed. Neighbors canvassed in February. Families funded this fight from their own pockets because no one else was going to do it for them.
  • We are not activists. We are your neighbors. And we are not going anywhere.

GO-FUND-ME BUTTON

how you can help.

Take Action:

Donate — Every contribution fuels the fight.
Whether it’s $5 or $500, every dollar strengthens our community’s ability to push back. Donations help fund legal challenges, outreach campaigns, and the research (SUBSTANTIAL STUDIES) that keeps our arguments solid and fact-based. Giving isn’t just financial—it’s a stand for accountability, transparency, and protecting what matters most.

Tell Your Neighbors — Conversations build community power.
Word of mouth travels faster than any press release. Take a few minutes to talk to friends and neighbors, share updates, and compare what you’ve heard. Awareness spreads when ordinary people start asking questions—and that’s how change begins.

Join Our Team — Stay informed, stay ahead.
Our newsletter gives you insider updates before the public hears them: new developments, upcoming meetings, data releases, and ways you can get involved. Staying informed means you can respond quickly and help others do the same.
Attend Neighborhood Meetings — Your presence makes a difference.
Decisions are made by those who show up. When residents fill the room, officials notice. Your voice, your questions, and even your presence remind decision-makers that this community is alert, united, and ready to defend its interests.
